Keep your game account secure!

You have probably invested a lot of your time - and maybe spent money - on your game account. It is therefore vital that you keep it safe.

Your game account is a bit like a bank account. You would not share your bank account login with anyone else – and in the same way you should not share your game account login. Please always be vigilant for scammers who may offer services or existing accounts for sale.

If the login for a game account has ever been shared with anyone then the security of that account is permanently compromised. Even if you change your Google or Apple password the player you shared your game account with will keep access to it on their device until they log out of the game account. You cannot do anything to force that player out of the account.

This is why you should NEVER share your account details.

If you have ever given access to your game account to another player, Miniclip player support will be unable to help you with any further problems as it is then difficult if not impossible to validate who the legitimate owner of the account is.

How might someone gain access to my account?

There are many ways this could happen, but here are a few common ones that are reported to us.

• A player offers to play your account when you are offline. Once that player has your account details, they have access to do anything with your account – including negative actions - and you have no way to lock them out of that account again.
• A player offers to sell you a high-level account. If you buy an account, the seller will still have access to the account you have purchased, and it is not secure. They also often sell the account to multiple people or might just keep your money and not give you access to the account.
• A player tells you that they can get you premium currency if you send them payment outside the game and your account details. When you send the payment, they keep the money and do not send the game items. They also have access to your account and may extort you into making further payments or they will sabotage your account or even get it banned.

The only way to guarantee your account is safe is to make your own game account, secure it with Google or Apple and never share its details with anyone else.

It is for these reasons that selling, buying, sharing, or giving game accounts to other players is against our Terms & Conditions. As these accounts are often used to exploit others, we can offer no support on them and in order to protect our players we may take action.
