Finding and joining a clan
Clans let you communicate with other players and take part in clan activities. A clan can have up to 50 members.
Find a clan
- Tap the speech bubble on the left of the main menu.
- Open Clan or Clan Chat and select Join.
- Review the suggested clans, member counts and trophies.
You can also browse recruitment posts under Recruit and select View Clan.
Join an open clan
Select the clan and tap Join. You need to meet its entry requirements, and a space must be available.
Join an invite only clan
An envelope indicates an invite-only clan. Select Request To Join and wait for a response. If accepted, open the invitation in Inbox and select Accept to finish joining.
Event eligibility
Join before a clan event starts and contribute to qualify for its rewards. Champion League has an additional deadline, explained below.
Creating and managing a clan
To create a clan instead, select Create from Clan or Clan Chat while you are not in a clan.
Create your clan
Choose a name, description and badge. Names can contain up to 16 characters and descriptions up to 144.
Set recruitment to Open or Invite Only, choose a minimum trophy requirement and select your country or language preference. Choose International if you have no preference.
Creation costs 10,000 Cash. Review your choices before confirming. A later clan name change must be requested by the Leader through Support.
Clan roles
- Leader manages the clan, including editing, recruitment, promotions, removals and event Overkill.
- Co-Leader has the same permissions but cannot demote or remove the Leader.
- Elder has management permissions but cannot edit the clan or demote or remove Leaders or Co-Leaders.
- Member can recruit players but has no other management permissions.
View or edit the clan
The Clan tab lists members and their stats. Use the category arrows to change the displayed statistic. Leaders and Co-Leaders can open the three-line menu and select Edit.
Leave a clan
Select Leave on the Clan tab and read the confirmation. Clan Points you earned stay with the old clan and do not move to a new one.
Leaving during a clan event affects contribution and reward eligibility. Check the rules before confirming.
Recruitment and invitations
Find players or advertise your clan
If you are in a clan, open Recruit to view players looking for a clan. Select a post to view the player’s profile or send a message, and use the available invitation option to recruit them.
Tap Recruit Members to post that your clan is looking for players.
If you are searching for a clan, tap Find Clan to post that you want to join, or browse posts from clans seeking members.
Respond to invitations and requests
Inbox contains clan invitations and join-related messages. Use the available Accept or Reject buttons after reviewing the clan or player involved. Some actions depend on your clan role.
The invitation control in the top-right lets you choose whether to receive clan invitations. Check its tick state if you are not receiving them.
Inbox can also contain purchase claims, which are covered in the missing-purchase guide.
Champion League participation
Joining within the first 24 hours
New members must join their Champion League clan within the first 24 hours of the season to contribute to that season.
Joining later
You can still join after that deadline, but you cannot contribute to the current season. You can contribute from the following season.
This rule applies specifically to Champion League. Other leagues allow contributions after joining later in their season.
Check the rule displayed on the Champion League screen and its remaining time before changing clans. Separate clan event participation rules may also apply.
