What can I do on the Inbox tab?

This is where you will receive various clan-related queries, including join requests and clan invites. You can confirm or deny these messages by tapping the relevant button. 

You can tap the tick icon in the top-right corner to change if clan invites will be blocked or not. Having this unticked will mean that you will no longer receive clan invites.
